I was born in Washington DC and grew up in suburban Maryland. While I was raised in a Gospel preaching church, I did not come to salvation until age 20 when I came to know Christ at a revival service. Jesus transformed me into a new man in Christ with new attitudes, new goals, and a new purpose. I completed college at the University of Maryland. I met my wife Cyndi and they were married in 1977. God called me out of the business world into the ministry in 1982. I attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and have served as a church planter, senior pastor, pastor, and church restarter. I currently serves as Associate Pastor at Faithwalk Baptist Church. I am also a staff chaplain at Winchester Medical Center. Cyndi and I have 6 adult children and 8 grandchildren. I enjoys hiking, fishing, sharing the Gospel, preaching, and working out.
